Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt

Padmabhushan Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt is a Hindustani classical music instrumentalist who plays the Mohan Veena (slide guitar). He won the Grammy Award in 1993. He was awarded the Padma Sri in 2002 and the Padma Bhushan in 2017.

Sometimes history wants to create a period with its hands excitedly, so that the generations to learn from it can be proud of being an Indian.

We are going through the same period! Despite global and national problems and challenges, we are relaxed and hopeful because we believe that we have a leadership for which national interest is the only goal. Any action he takes will be in the interest of the country and the countrymen.

Decades later, our country has found a hero, not a leader.

The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Damodar Das Modi is not an expression of a person, he is not a name! The place where the cultural image and eternal tradition of united India is proud and from where the thinking of new India is implemented.

We have become vigilant, conscious and able to restore the true identity and reputation of our country under his guidance and stand with the world with progressive thinking. New energy, energy and confidence have come into the arteries of the country.

These things may seem a bit bookish, but I am saying this based on my life experiences.

For almost forty five years I have been going abroad and abroad to present my program and even today, through various means of communication, I have been discussing with dignitaries from all over the world. I am very Proud and happy to see a pleasant and positive change towards the image of India.

Now the world is convinced with our art as well as our national leadership. Our new reputation has been established in the world. People have agreed that India and the whole world have got a strong, honest and honest leader as Modi ji.

Only such a leadership can give the world’s largest democracy that, out of personal interest, considers national interest and public welfare as its paramount duty and purpose. To accomplish that objective, he coordinates politics and diplomacy and goes on to perform his duty with full concentration, alertness and loyalty without getting distracted by opposition and condemnation.

Modi ji is the name of that stunning and unique leader.

I had the privilege of meeting him at some special events. When I was conferred the Padma Bhushan at the grand ceremony of Padma Awards, he himself came to me, embraced him with affection and said that he is my fan, listening to my music, especially while doing yoga! He also thanked me for this. Truly, that day I became his fan.

I am often surprised to meet him as a person who has the responsibility of a huge democracy like India, challenges of the country and the world and has such a busy routine, how he remains so comfortable, calm, happy and cheerful! They meet daily with specific delegations of the country and abroad but meet the same enthusiasm, intimacy and respect from ordinary people. There is no artificiality in their behaviour, nor arrogance is no fanfare. Whether they are in the country or abroad, they have a simple but self-respecting person attached to their culture.
