There are several ways to honour the legacy of Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Celebrating Modi Ji’s 70 years on Earth is simply one humble way to wish him good fortune & health. With no special gift worthy enough to give him, I would like to use my pen to commemorate this momentous occasion.
For decades, it has been an honour and privilege to witness the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in various roles, replete with the struggles, challenges, and achievements. His life has been a journey of courage, compassion, and constant hard work. His meteoric rise from humble beginnings attributable to monk-like discipline, devotion, and passion to work of masses and decisiveness in approaching problems sets him apart from his contemporaries in the present world.
Over the years, Modi Ji has continuously displayed his skills as a devoted grass root level worker, a meticulous organiser, and an able administrator. Under his leadership as Chief Minister, the state of Gujarat witnessed massive growth and prosperity. A governance model implemented by him in Gujarat has become a benchmark that other states are trying to emulate.
In every way, Modi Ji earned my admiration for his determined efforts to bring about radical and systemic changes with an urgent need to pursue his vision passionately regardless of the resistance and obstacles.
Since childhood, he was highly influenced by the works of Swami Vivekananda, which laid the foundation of his journey towards spiritualism. It is this spiritualism that carved in him a strong urge to make a difference to the society. The period of his stay at Vadnagar – a vibrant center of Buddhist learning and spirituality in the past – is being considered by many as a catalyst that inspired him to pursue the mission to fulfill Swamiji’s dream of making India a Jagat Guru.
This rise from ‘Nothing’ by Shri Narendra Modi that continues to be a source of strength and inspiration to millions of youngsters who like him come from a humble background but have the talent and aspiration to make a niche for themselves. Being an excellent communicator – whether through passionate speeches or well-crafted tweets, he has managed to ignite passion, vision, and commitment with countrymen across all ages, backgrounds, and geography.
His thoughts’ conviction and clarity are amply reflected from the following words, “One who creates wealth for the nation works for the nation. Those who create wealth for the nation is also the wealth of the nation.” The recent invocation to countrymen for Self-reliant India or ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ is a testimony to the vision he has for India. I firmly believe that this invocation will act key enabler in the achievement of GSP of US $ 5 trillion-dollar 2025 Today, in Modi Ji, India has a Prime Minister who not only can imagine big but also has ability and resolve to make it a reality.
