Dr. Sanjiv Goenka

Dr Sanjiv Goenka is the Chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group since its inception in 2011. He is also Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT, Kharagpur, a former President of AIMA and a member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Trade & Industry. He was the youngest ever President of CII in 2001. He has been ranked #18 in India Today’s List of 50 Most Powerful People in India in 2019. Goenka has also been conferred awards like Global Leader for Tomorrow, WEF, Davos in 1993 and Bangla Bibhushan Award, among numerous others. He lives in Kolkata.

For more than a century great leaders from the banks of Sabarmati  have sent their waking call. As we approach 75 years of freedom, our precious leader Narendra Modiji will be 70. 

He is a person who combines ideals with prudence, he is decisive, he is a visionary. He has a revolutionized India and the way Indians think. For the first time in our history, the world looks at Indians with respect , we are treated with dignity. Narendra Bhai has taught us to be Atmanirbhar.

I am reminded of a quote written on the 70th year of the poet who gave us our, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ : “ We look at you again and again with wonder.” I join my countrymen to greet Modiji, our brave and far sighted leader and can only wish-Jug Jug Jio, Narendra Bhai.
