Anup Jalota

Anup Jalota is an Indian singer, musician and actor best known for his performances in the Hindu devotional music, bhajan, and the Urdu form of poetry, ghazal. He is popularly known as the “Bhajan Samraat”. He has been awarded the Padma Shri in the field of Art-Indian Classical Music- Vocal.

I met Shri Narendra Modi Ji at his Chief Minister’s residence at Gandhinagar for the first time many years ago . In those days he was a very popular Chief Minister and a very strong point being discussed all over was that he was the future Prime Minister of India . We had lunch together and after that we sat down to discuss about the development of Gujarat . I was mesmerized with his vast knowledge and deep insight and his love and passion with which he covered the various accomplishments that has happened in Gujarat .  

From issues with relation to the fishermen up to industrialists he had a grasp on every section of people in Gujarat and his ability to get into details on every issue impressed me immensely. We also talked about other Leaders and Prime Ministers’ of the World. 

Narendra Ji had a deep interest in devotional songs and poetry. I passingly mentioned to him that the Country needs people like him as the Chief Minister of every State in India so that there could be similar progress in every State in India and automatically INDIA would develop holistically . So instead of becoming PM I suggested that he ought to become the CM of every State . Modi Ji just smiled, and I bid him farewell. 

Narendra Modi Ji is not only the Prime Minister of India but has come to all of us as a boon . He has come at the Behest of Lord Shri Ram to complete the unfulfilled task of setting up a “ Ram Rajya “ with eternal peace , prosperity and happiness for the people of India . Each program implemented by Modi Ji has been a super success . He has also honored the name and the reputation of his guide and mentor Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji . 

I congratulate Modi Ji on his 70 the birthday and I pray to the Almighty that he should get a life of a 100 years and the journey of the 100 years should start from today .
