On this occasion of 70th birthday of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, I would like to express my heartfelt birthday wishes! His leadership in building a ‘new India’ has been an inspiration to all of us. I pray for his long and healthy life as we all work towards achieving this vision.

The ultimate test of a leader and society’s character is how they respond to adversity. The challenge posed by COVID-19 has tested the leadership qualities of people on a variety of fronts, ranging from the personal to the organisational. Under the leadership of our Prime Minister, the country has demonstrated remarkable resolve, the entire government machinery has risen to the occasion and it stands tall in the collective fight against the virus, which has brought even global superpowers to their knees. It is a testimony to the Prime Minister’s leadership skills that a country with so much diversity, and a federal structure of governance, has put up a united front against the pandemic. We have shown the world what “nation first” means.

Shri Narendra Modi will be forever remembered in the annals of history as amongst India’smost popular leader both inside and outside the country. Since his early childhood, our Prime Minister devoted himself to the service of the nation. As a young man, he showed a strong inclination towards working for the uplift of the downtrodden. Born into a humble background, he had a tough childhood, which motivated him to work for the poor and help them break the shackles of poverty. Apart from his devotion towards helping one and all, and serving humanity passionately, our Prime Minister is also known for his vibrant leadership style, organisational abilities and political courage.

I have had the privilege of witnessing Shri Narendra Modi’s exemplary political career spanning over 50 years and his historic achievements during this time. With no strong political family background, he has managed to successfully lead the world’s largest democracy. He has been working hard on his dreams of making India a successful economy. Right from his foresightedness for a push towards Digital India, Make in India, Demonetisation, introduction of the long awaited GST regime, to making Adhaar card mandatory, his Swachh Bharat Initiative of making India clean, to the recent initiative of Atmanirbhar Bharat – a vision of making India a self-reliant nation are all decisive steps in the direction of building a large and successful Indian economy. One of the hallmarks of his style of governance is his ability to connect with the masses. Undoubtedly, people not only listen carefully to whatever he says, but also believe him and follow him. As a result, our Prime Minister has almost all the citizens of the country working as his team to make his vision a success.

With the motto ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas’, our Prime Minister has started many initiatives for poverty alleviation, resulting in a qualitative change in the living conditions of the poor.  The chains of nepotism, casteism and the politics of appeasement, which had gripped India’s politics for long, have been broken under Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership. The sole reason for his political victories across India, is due to his development programs and commitment towards the poor and downtrodden.

Under our Prime Minister’s leadership, not only is the country working towards a developed society, but India’s profile has also risen considerably on the global platform. The strongest proof of this is – member states of the United Nations giving a green light to Modiji’s proposal of according international recognition to Yoga Diwas.

It is a matter of great pride for us that today we work under a leader who is working relentlessly to re-establish India’s cultural heritage and make it an equal society. The Media and Entertainment sector is truly inspired by his vision and is putting every possible effort to ensure that we make a small contribution to this transformational phase of our nation’s path to development.

Once again, I extend our Prime Minister my best wishes on his birthday and pray to God to bless him and give him more strength to serve his motherland and humanity.
