Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni

Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni is the founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti. He is a social reformer, versatile thinker, writer and poet. He was honoured with National Communal Harmony Award by Government of India, Ambassador of Peace Award by United Peace Federation for his remarkable contributions towards World peace and communal harmony.

Swami Vivekananda was a legend. His whole life is devoted in the development of moral values, awakening of young minds towards nation, revival of human values and focus on spirituality and culture. He became the center of attraction of young generation of that time. His education was always based on internal progress of youth rather than physical progress. They always encouraged the youth and used to say, ‘Get up my lions!’ Erase the illusion that you are weak.” 

 He used to say one more thing that what you think will definitely happen. There are some such inspirations that still excite the youth, show the path and provide a philosophy of living. Our Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi is talking about creating a new India, the basis of which is the teachings and inspiration of Swami Vivekananda. I have seen Shri Narendra Bhai Modi in many ways. Even as an activist of the Bharatiya Janata Party, as a national officer and as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and now the Prime Minister of India, his tenure is in front of everyone. They proceed with full dedication and devotion. His work goals are clear and specific. They do not stop, do not get tired and do not deter. Even odd and adverse circumstances cannot distract him. He is known as a personality or we can say team leader who always work in a unique and innovative way. 

 He is the owner of wonderful and magnetic personality; which attract everyone. I have met him on many occasions, as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in the past, during these years as Prime Minister from Delhi to Washington; he met with great enthusiasm and energy whenever he met. His reverence for the saints of Jainism is unique and inspiring. He is a great admirer and follower of Jainism’s principles of renunciation, moderation and non-violence. My personal experience states that whoever meets him gets influenced by his nature or thoughtful words whether in India or abroad. 

 I felt it deeply in my foreign travels of these years. Even after becoming Prime Minister, Shri Narendrabhai Modi always said something touching the heart. They talk small but impactful things which are connected to the land; cleanliness, progress & training of youths, concept of non-violence and request the whole world to accept the importance of yoga. Shri Narendra Bhai Modi is the true voice of the Indian nation.  He always wants that India has become a healthy, clean, prosperous, safe and cultural nation of the whole world. That is why he has a strong and valid point that the world accepts. 

Seeing the style of working of Narendra Bhai, the pages of history appeared in front of me, due to which India became proud around the world. When Narendra Bhai Modi was on a trip to America and the whole of America was highly impressed by his personality. I felt the same way when the Narendra of past times i.e. Swami Vivekananda went to America in 1893 and the Americans were so much influenced by him. 

Swami Vivekananda had gone to America under very difficult circumstances; same hurdles are faced by Narendra Bhai at this time. I had also come to know that the same truth has been emerged in the life of Swami Vivekanand Ji,  Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Param Pujya Guruji as well as in the life of  Shri Narendra Bhai Modi also. Just as Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa inspired Swami Vivekananda to engage in the service of society, culture and nation, in the same way Swami Atmasthanand inspired Shri Narendra Bhai Modi. My education teacher Acharya Shri Mahapragya gave him similar inspirations.Today, the way he talks about nation building, person building, culture nourishment and social harmony, these are the principles of Vivekanandji. 

 I see India under the leadership of Shri Narendra Bhai Modi returning to the supreme splendor that has been there in the past and whose decline began with the renunciation of the arms of Emperor Ashoka, though there was a glimpse of India from some rulers in the middle but the glimpses of unity and splendor that are seen even till the Mauryas time were lost. 

The manner in which Mr. Narendra Bhai Modi has raised the issues of political, social, spiritual, strategic and economic empowerment of India in America, Japan, Australia, Britain, France, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Nepal is impeccable. Certainly, his vision and direction is the foundation of new and better India. Shri Narendra Bhai Modi has a lot of exceptional talents in life and work. They always speak from the heart and show his devotion in the betterment of India.  Religion and spirituality are reflected in his talks. His thoughts reflect in his words and his thoughts are the pure form of dedication and determination. There are very few people who do this and those who do, they make history. 

 As Shri Narendra Bhai Modi is making history. That is why I consider him the epitome of purity in politics, the coordinator of spirituality and science, rich in eccentric personality. On his 70th birthday, wishing him to keep India healthy and constantly working, moving towards becoming a Vishwa- Guru.
